Trains, and their importance to Indiana, are the theme of the Indiana Transportation Museum in Noblesville and the Indiana Railway Museum at French Lick. The Mid America Wind Museum at Kendallville has the most complete collection of windmills in North America and is truly worth visiting. At Carmel the Miniatures Museum has a vast collection of dollhouses and miniatures. The Indiana Military Museum features a collection of Military vehicles, artillery, uniforms, insignia, equipment from Civil War to the present. The Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame is located at New Castle and has many exhibits which tell the story of Indiana’s famed High School basketball tradition. Opera singers are welcome to visit, but not to sing at the Glass Museum at Dunkirk. Over 6000 pieces from 150 glass factories across the world are on exhibit here. Celebrate the legendary 1954 Milan Indians state basketball championship at the Milan’54 museum at, can you guess? And Hagerstown is host to the Collectable Cars Museum, a collection ranging from thirty to sixty cars. The exhibit is changed monthly.
