Bean Blossom Indiana Covered Bridge
This bridge is located about a half mile south of Bean Blossom, Indiana on Covered Bridge Road which is on the west side of State Road 135 on the south edge of the village.

It crosses Bean Blossom Creek and is a single span, modified Howe Truss structure. Bean Blossom Bridge is sixty feet long, twelve feet wide and thirteen feet wide. Covered Bridge Road rejoins State Road 135 about one half mile past the bridge. This road used to be the main road to Nashville until 1936 when the current highway was built.

The bridge was built by Joseph Basley at a cost of $1,175 in 1880 and it is still in use.

The bridge is about four miles from the north tip of Nashville. The southern entrance to Covered Bridge Road is about three miles from Ridgeway Drive on the north side of Nashville and would make an excellent alternative drive to or from Bean Blossom from Nashville.

Picturesque Bean Blossom Bridge is easliy accessed and no visit to Bean Blossom, indeed to Nashville, Indiana, would be complete without a visit. Just off Indiana State Road 135, the bridge makes a great alternative drive to Bean Blossom from Nashville.
