After digging the daffodil bulbs, they should be laid out to dry for a few days in a cool, dry place. When the outter skin of the bulb is dry and papery, the bulbs may be stored in an open plastic or wooden crate, placed in a cloth or plastic mesh onion bag, or old nylon stocking. Whichever is handier. Store the daffodil bulbs in a cool, dry place until you are ready to plant them in the fall.
