Solar Garden Light - The Floodlight © 2008
Solar flood lights will inundate an area with light. These types of lights usually are equipped with
motion detectors which are activated by movement in an area and shut off after sixty to ninty seconds.
The floodlight usually doesn't produce as much concentrated light as the spot light. Their purpose
is to illuminate an area to provide enough light to either provide some limited security or short
term visibility.
If a lot of light is needed, a solar flood light may not be the answer. Even the strongest lights of
this type cannot match the flood light which is wired into the homes electricity grid. If a lot of
light is needed, you should really consider traditionally wired lights.
